slumber party

Jake had his 12th birthday and decided SLUMBER PARTY..... thank heavens he is friends with wonderful, quite, respectful young men. They played basketball, table tennis and went to a movie. Who could ask for a better slumber party. We had pizza and cake and ice cream with family and friends... very small... no real invites just a few come over to hang out. Jake wanted only his two close friends and that was it.
I love watching jake grow up. he is such a nice young man and he is super smart and a joy to be around!
I love that kid!

Mexico 2011

So we went to mexico for Spring break 2011...... who's idea was that to join spring breakers in cancun,...... it was nice, relaxing, beautiful and a all around good time. the downfalls!!!! NOISE, music, drunk college kids, a kid falling off a 20ft high up hot tub to the tile stairs below, need i say more.
My brother joined and we all had a great family vacation. My parents and ryan and I with the two kids had a adjoining room, that is nice. Will loved the warm weather and loves being outside. Jake got to try zip-lining, it was a blast.
I also decided when my kids are ready for spring break, I will be that mother that goes along. A. to enjoy the vacation and B. to be there if he takes a trip to the hospital!!!!! If Jake is anything like me, he will for sure be in the hospital!!!!

Easter pictures

So here is Will's easter pictures. At first he was not impressed by the live animals, but after a while he warmed up and was ok with them being around. he wanted to pick up eggs and throw them, just glad it wasn't the animals he wanted to throw. I love this lady in Rio, jessica Kuepler who does monthly mini sessions... it is 25 dollars and you get the disc and the rights to the photos!!! how inexpensive is that!!!
