cry...... A's

This is a quick one, sorry no pictures..........
Went to see Night at Rodanth (what? how do you say it or spell it really).
I cried until i couldn't breath out of my noise. I went with Danielle (who is no longer a dud) and April. They wanted to wait to leave at the end, so know one would see their friend with the RED eyes. It was a great movie....... a great love story...... I CRIED!!!!!!! she did say in the movie to her daughter, hold out until you find that one that makes you feel like you can be and do anything (something like that)... I looked at D and said I am waiting, I am waiting...... she started to laugh and i almost peed myself........... Anyway, had a great Tuesday, free popcorn and a great movie with good friends............

Next and most important of this week. Jake brought home 3 test.......ALL A'S!!!!!!! I am so proud. He must of got the brains from me..... D and April remember I am pretty...........

Scenic drive this weekend, food food food...........
oh and it is cold in galesburg........ can't handle that...........

Trains.........

OK, so this week has been all work and no play. Except the wonderful birthday party sat. in Victoria. I must say small towns are a lot of fun. Thanks Emily for being my DD! I loved riding in the new car and all the stations you get on the radio. Like a mobile Karaoke machine...... love it.

Ok, so back to all work and no play. I love Galesburg, I really do...... But the TRAINS are starting to bother me at 6am. I think the conductors or who ever gets to blow the horns do it that early to wake people up. They are up working so lets ruin the sleep for all the people in town. Come on people. I get a bit more time to sleep KEEP IT QUITE!!!!

Then there are the people that stand by the railroad tracks and take pictures of the trains..... really, is this a piece of art............ Maybe they are writing a book on how the trains wake them up in the morning........If you look closely to my picture you will see people standing waiting to take a picture of the train.... seriously........

So beyond that complaint I think we are happy.

Jake is busy with school..... getting into the swing of homework and test and all that fun stuff. I had a few trainings this week and I stressed when they said test at the end, I was trying to remember how to cheat: writing it on my hand, my shoe, in my phone, looking at my neighbors paper.... then they said open book. WOW, I love being an adult. Can't fail those test....... well, I hope not.

Jaci, Parker and Jake and I went to Igor last night, not worth 5.50 and free popcorn. I went to the restroom and was thinking of sitting out the rest of it.

I think this is all I have..........no news is good news.

Wanted to shout out to my mother, THANKS FOR THE JIMMY JOHNS TONIGHT! She was in Peoria for work and texted she would get me a sandwich!!!! made my Thursday! really, that is all it takes.

Jake and I came home, he started performing arts tonight, after I picked him up. He loves performing arts. We just relaxed and I got caught up on Gossip girl as he read a book for school. what a great kid i have. He then went and took the dog out and he pooped (the dog Silly) in the neighbors yard. So Jake had to go and get it, could we find it in the dark. Nope. Then Jake said I smell it, we keep looking. He keeps smelling it...... HUMMMMMMMM
where could it be..............

ON THE BOTTOM of his shoes. UGH! it will smell in 4th grade tomorrow.........

TGIT!

I can't wait until Friday. Work is working me so hard these days. I feel like when I get home, I don't' even have the energy to change clothes.

So Wed. I like to play a bit of tennis. This is so I at least exercise once a week. Last night was a workout. I was running to get home, change and feed the dog and let him out and then literally run back to tennis. I get there a few min. late and was ready to go........... So then we are playing, i won the first game. The second game I was working hard to win. I went for a ball that was right down the center........... I dove for it, LITERALLY! As the ladies all turn to watch me, slow motion, dive...... I threw my racket and did a roll, dive, fall, stumble! whatever you want to call it, i landed HARD! i got up and said I am fine, fine, fine fine. I was scratched all down my leg, my bottom hurt and my elbow was all scratched up too. I guess I give the ladies a good laugh. The young one keeps hurting herself............. Pain is still what I feel, but I am not a Quitter!!!! so for next wed. i just need to wear padding. Didn't I fall last year????? but still managed to dance the night away............

Movie night tuesday was awesome girls. AM i the only one that cries at true love stories..........????

Ok, D (danielle) is awesome and likes cocktails and is a fun time. D is a firework that explodes with excitement! she is the one i want beside me when i am out and about, and not to lecture me on needing to stop drinking................

D is for DUD!

I love this story! i was talking to my good friend D (Danielle) yesterday about making Jake cry (ok not really). But, I asked about a birthday party next weekend and if she was going and then she was telling me about her family reunions (that she has every weekend). She was talking of how others like to have a cocktail and she doesn't really (ok sometimes alone, i think). Well, i said you know how you buy fireworks in a bundle and every so often there is a DUD? she said Yes! i said D is now for DUD! she needs to live it up a little and not be a DUD! hahahaha I love giving D a hard time. Jason is not a dud! maybe that is why she is sooooooo responsible and lectures me on my intake because she is sick of being the babysitter for me and her husband, maybe that is why she stays home.......
D i promise next time you go out I will make you proud........... well maybe........

there is an engagement! i don't have permission to say names so you will just have to ask me later. but i can say, its not me, or emily, or jaci, or doug, or walker, or anyone that lives in ILLINOIS for that matter.
so congrats to my friends that make silly choices.........

So the rain is making me tired and may just rest all weekend....... ok maybe not.

Tuesday Tuesday Tuesday!

Shout out to Michelle, It is her Birthday and she, Jakob and I went to Jalisco's to celebrate. Yes, she is one of my friends that likes this as much as me...............

Its also one of my brothers close friends, Chicklet's birthday too...... Yay for birthdays.

Now lets back track, sat. i went to a greek reunion.......... lets just say my friends from college are all the same and I can at least say that we still do the same things together............. it was a great time to see them all and even though it is TUESDAY i am still feeling a bit sick from saturday. so you all know I had a great time. I can't wait to see them again.......

Sunday was the long ride home and lets just say 1983 called and they want all their fanny packs back! why do people still wear them???????? come on.

It was just as bad at work today when my co-worker said something about her waterbed and I said 1985 called and wanted it back...... she said OH we did get that in 1984! Jason and Danielle at least took the call and sent it back.

so Jake and I are under the weather, my nurse at school probably thinks I am a hypocondriac (SPELLING) because I am in her office often and she said the same thing SINUS! OK so does that mean I can go home....... NO! jake and I are blowing our noses and sneezing and need to now go and rest......

RAIN RAIN.....Birthdays and babies

Rain rain go away come again another day.... or is it RAINING MEN!!!!

Well, lets just say that my drive here was wet and in the rain is never pleasant..... causes one to be late...........

So today is Lesley and Susie's birthday's. Jake and I wish them the best at 32!!!! I have had one good year at this age so I hope they do too!

Babies! on the way to work on counted how many people I know having babies. 12!!!!! so I am going to have to get one gift and they can all share it. hahahahaha

Jake starts fall ball and bowling sat. He bowls just like PAPA!

So if you check Megans blog you will see the pictures and all the news from the CCC (Cabrera's Country club). Next summer I may have a membership fees........ We had a great weekend at the CCC! Then jake spent the weekend camping with my parents in the evening and I spent the evenings doing what I do best.............. So it was all in all a great weekend. I had a WONDERFUL labor day weekend.

Jake is loving school and his best buds in 4th grade. baseball starts this weekend for fall ball and he is loving guitar with his best bud, charlie hayes! we are in a happy place.

Uncle danny was home last week and that was a good time to see him, it was short lived, but well worth every minute.

This week is busy, i joined PTO and won a gift certificate for the first meeting tonight. Love that. Tennis tomorrow. played monday at 9am in the heat and did a great job. got hit in the arm with a ball so this is the second time in the last month. maybe they are trying to tell me something.........Thursday is Gale's Open house and a cook-out. then this weekend I get to go to chicago for a greek reunion. I graduated 10 years ago, can you believe that????? i still feel like I am in college some days. I get to see friends that I have not seen since and I am EXCITED!!!!

SO glad i have great friends in my life, I honestly don't know what I would do without them. AS well as A great family! they are my world.

NEW: Republicans are not looking so good this week. I am now all for OBAMA!
CCC is the best thing this week.

I have a friend in Texas that is expecting.... Congrats to her...... I think this makes 11 people I know now prego..... numbers keep getting bigger.
Actually, corner connection had some older people in last weekend and I was the one that made emily go home early........ Thanks to DR. DD Emergency.
The Pub was a hit, got a party favor, thanks to katie and Dan and it was nice to sit and enjoy my friends and the weather.
